Our Little Gardener

This year I thought it would be alot of fun to plant a garden at my mom and dad's house. Whitney of course joined in on the fun. She helped with the planting, raking and general dirt work.
She always wears dresses or skirts...so even when working in dirt...one must wear a skirt. She loves to pick out her own clothes...at least this time the outfit matched!

Memorial Day 2009

The tradition continued as the entire Erickson Clan gathered at the Erickson Lake House for Memorial Day. This year was even more exciting because the number of grandchildren from last year has over-doubled to a total of 5! (All of which or 2 and under!) What fun!!

The Entire Erickson Clan!

Also new this year was a sandy beach. We all loved it, but it was heaven for Whitney and cousin Emma.
(Thank you to the Erickson brothers for the lot and to Grandpa for the sand!)

Part of every year's fun is the Vahalla Triathlon. Competition is was fierce...above is a picture of the big winners...Way to go Daddy!!!!!

Wyatt spent a lot of time checking out Caroline (they are a week apart in age). What fun they will have as they get older!

Whitney loved floating in the lake with Daddy on her "Pink Boat". It couldn't have been any better since pink is her favorite color.

Wyatt just preferred to stay at the beach! Next Memorial Day...watch out!!

There is our little Texas in Whitney!

Wyatt chillin in the grass...just waiting for the next thing to come along!!

Our little Erickson clan...what a great time we had! Yeah T-E-X-A-S

3 Girls...3 Mizzou Grads

May 15, 2009 was the final day of a "Dinse" girl being enrolled at the University of Missouri. What a fun run it has been. My baby sister, Lisa graduated from the Nursing School. We are so proud of her. She will be leaving for the Air Force in August and then after training will be based in Washington D.C. serving our country as a R.N. (Lisa...you better get your calendar ready...hope you like house guests!!)

Of course we wouldn't have missed it...we were all there to celebrate this awesome day!!

We couldn't be prouder of her! Great Job Lisa!! Welcome to Alumni status!!

Watch Out Whitney...Here He Comes!!

As of this weekend, Wyatt can now pull up on things. He hasn't mastered crawling as his main mode of transportation is still the "inch worm", but he is now pulling up on things. A sure way to get him to stand up is put the remote up on something....he will go for it every time (defiantly his father's son)!

Standing UP!

Wyatt is very focused and determined. If he gets his mind to get something, he will go after it full force!

He is into everything and especially loves to dump things over and get under anything!!
He is especially thrilled when he gets something of Whitney's. He is holding one of her princess dresses. He waits for her reaction and of course she is immediately upset, the he just laughs at her!
Ahh...I am in trouble!!!

Whitney Goes to Sunday School

May 10th was Whitney's first time attending Sunday School.
She was so excited and we were excited for her.
She is ready to go in!

She is peeking in. Grandma is inside waiting for her to come on in.

Our little girl is growing up. She is doing such big girl things! We couldn't be prouder or happier as parents. She is so much fun and keeps each day interesting!!!
