MU Spring Game

Despite rainy weather when we left our house this morning, we decided to brave it and head to Columbia for the MU Spring Game. Along with the game is the annual football player reunion. All players and their families are invited to the press box for lunch and a short program. It was great fun getting to see alot of familiar faces!

Whitney loved looking down at the field and was totally mesmerized by the whole thing!

Whitney and Wyatt both really had a great time...and we did too! Wyatt has the "YO...What's up?" sort of look.

A highlight for Whitney was seeing Truman. She and Wyatt got to go down on the field with Steven and have their picture take. We have books about Truman and she thinks he is top notch! She was totally in awe of the entire thing!

We all got a picture with Truman...despite Wyatt being a little irritated.

Whitney loves being outside and likes to inspect everything. We have been talking about there being green leaves on trees and bushes. Finally, Spring is here!

A Man's Best Friend

Wyatt is loving to spend more and more time on the floor. He really loves Lexus and Lexus seems to like him.

He can rotate on his tummy like the hands of a clock and rolls from one place to another. He is quite proud of himself!!!

He would prefer for us to bring him things verses having alot the motivation to really move from one place to another. Whitney is a constant source of entertainment for him as well. She is always on the go!! He looks at her like ..."wow...you are a busy girl!"

Whitney loves life and makes each day full of fun and excitement! Her daddy is of course excited for golf season and Whitney has her clubs out and ready!! Of course her outfits are always interesting:)

Two New Cousins!!!

Whitney and Wyatt are proud to announce the arrival of two new cousins!!

Benjamin Matthew Erickson was born on March 11, 2009!

Benjamin weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long!

He is super handsome and doing great!

Natalie Charlese Schnell was born April 2, 2009!

Natalie weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 20 inches long! She is precious and just beautiful!

Lunch with Aunt Shirley

This weekend Aunt Shirley can from Macon to visit. She is such a special lady and an inspiration to us all. She brought little love gifts for the children. Wyatt got a little football (how perfect) and Whitney got an Easter shirt that she crossed stitched on the front "Some Bunny Special" The shirt will be perfect to wear to our Easter Egg Hunt. Thank you Aunt Shirley and Brooke for coming over! We had a great time!!!

I'm a Big Boy Now- 6 mo. check-up!!

Today Wyatt went to the doctor for his 6 month check-up. The doctor said he was doing great and was growing just how he should. Wyatt is now going to start eating lunch which makes him up to three solid food meals a day! He can also start drinking for a sippy cup. The only thing he can't eat is egg whites, honey, corn, and juice. Otherwise, as they say, he is on full feed!! Here are his stats!

Weight: 21 lbs. 10 oz. - 95% tile

Height: 27 1/4 inches - 85% tile

Head Circumference: 45 cm - 80%tile

At 6 months these are the things he likes:

-He loves touching faces and hair. If he can get his little fingers in your hair...watch out!

-He loves rolling over.

-He likes to choose what he wants to play with and of course everything goes into his mouth.

-He has two teeth and is a super drooler!

-He makes lots of noises (when he can get a word in...which is difficult with Whitney around) He does manage to let out squeals, grunts and growls.

-He is a pretty good sitter....he still needs a little support. (It is hard to balance so much weight around the middle)

-He has a very easy smile and just wants to be where ever we all are.

-He still loves his exer-causer but has really started enjoying being in his jumper.

He is so much fun and growing really fast! Here is a picture of him in his jumper...he is squealing and having a blast!

Wild Weather - From Snow to the 80s!

This has been a week of wild weather. We had 6 inches of snow this last weekend and it was 8 degrees outside. Today it is beautiful and sunny and in the 80s.

No matter the weather...we have braved the elements.

Whitney loved the snow...she loves wearing gloves! (She loves accessories)
